I enjoy reading series, although I don't read in order of publication. Good story telling and fun characters. Cuidate, CL Page

Bad, save your money.

I love cats, but this book seemed roughly and quickly sketched, incompetently plotted, both random and completely cliched in its presentation of the investigation and new clues---and possessing the insight into human nature of a fairly smart 11-year-old, maybe.

I don't think even the (fake, I know) author of the "Debbie --I really love cats" youtube video would like this one. I wasn't expecting much, but this is shocking. ... Although I kind of recommend reading it to see how bad it is.

A CAT NAMED BRAT is a light hearted enjoyable mystery that doesn't take itself too seriously especially when Alice "personalizes" the murder of a client's owner. Give the plot time because the story line makes sense only when all the facts are in and the readers are able to tie them together into a picture of an almost inconceivable scenario. Lydia Adams once again delivers a charming amateur sleuth tale.
