But sometimes her books are like crack to me and I have to read them! This one was no exception. He was a fucking ass. She was a bit immature and innocent! It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.

His brother, Al, warned her of Thorn's reputation for breaking hearts, but singing was Sabina's life and she was grateful for any work she could get. She and her band would take the gig in the New Orleans nightclub, even if it was owned by Mr. Thorndon III. But Thorn wasn't the stuffy old businessman she'd expected. He was prickly, passionate, rock stubborn and liked to play matchmaker.

As always Ms Palmer paints a great story with words. Great story, well written and so good reading. A fast read. A great ending to a great story. A great musician with a special voice and a poor upbringing, meets a special man who also has a bad life. They settle their differences to a very happy ending. I would recommend this book highly. Another treasure from Diana's chest of classics. The strong hero with a battered soul who hurts the one that he loves. I like how she made him cry at the bedside. I've read every book and look forward to reading the next. Sadly, some of the books have to end, because i wish they could go on and on.

I read this years ago and recently re-purchased for my kindle and enjoyed it just as much the second time around. I have read many of DP books and some of them I down right hate because the h is too much of a doormat and the H is a complete jerk. Not the case with this story yes the H is still mean but he suffers quite nicely and I like to watch them grovel. The h doesn't just take him back she makes him work for it and she isn't a doormat. I will probably read this one again when I'm in the mood for this type of story.

Another great Diana Palmer favorite. Her old Harlequin romance books have so much angst you can’t stop reading. I am looking forward to reading more of her books.

This is a classic. It is a girl meets really rich man and she stands up to him. I have read this book multiple times. It made me tear up.

Blackstalker
A classic Diana Palmer romance. Familiar theme but still an excellent romance.

This is actually one of Diana Palmer's better books. I have read it twice and cried a little both times. I liked the sassiness of the heroine. And the hero in this story was not nearly as obnoxious as most of them in her books. Most all of her books are the same theme - boy meets girls, hates girl, loves girl, hates girl, etc. Her writing is very old fashioned. Having said that, I still read some of them.

It's a great book about how lives can change when they are in love. It also shows how much people can change to find real love.
