For some strange reason I felt like I was reading a historical……LOL...

I like second chance novels, but I felt that Brad did not deserve a second chance with Meg.

Meg for all the 'independent, strong etc etc' came across as weak.

Brad came across as one lucky ba....., who lands on his feet everytime

There was too much going on here……… add to that Angus the Ghost …… Olivia's ESPish connection with the animals…

It seemed like a historical, western, paranormal all rolled in one.

I have read this book a couple of times and find this author does a great job presenting characters and the story moves along at a steady pace, Predictability well most books in this genre are it is the way the story unfolds that keeps me coming back.

I gave this book 5 stars because of the good story line . The MCKETTRICK series good. There is a lot of excitement and romance. The stories are never boring. The characters are well written and the setting described so well it's easy to imagine.

Awesome awesome awesome. Such beauty came from heartache. Don't run from the love of your life and try to replace it with someone else. Deal with the lost love so you can move on. Meg and Brad are lucky yo have found each other again. Carly is going to have a fulfilled life with Meg, Brand and baby McKettrick because her dad gave her the chance to meet het sister before he died.

I just loved this Romantic Western. I'm Hooked on the McKettrick Men Series now and have ordered all the other Series of books to read about the history of the McKettrick Family. I only Wish I would have gone to Linda Lael Miller's Website first and got the order of the books to read on The McKettrick Family, but what ever book you pick up of hers, it will be an easy read and just as fascinated. I will probably reread this one again.

The book is wonderful. I have told my co-workers about this book.

Love brad for the most part ....meh was charming...but with all that was in the story it could have been much more emotionally compelling. After reading his boys books...Loved seeing Angus again.

This is just another enjoyable story about the interesting Mc Kittrick family. Sadness in most of the stories, there is always a happy ending, I like that. I have come to feel like I have known them and its a big familiy througn out all of the generations. Always entertaining.
