I purchased this book as I have an MLIS in youth services and am also currently working with teen parents at a transitional housing facility. This a great resource with multiple resources that I will be turning to again and again as I plan and program. Especially helpful were the sections on how to create a program and the summaries of various programs around the country, as that gave me multiple directions in which to go. There were other helpful surprises, such as flannel board patterns and book lists.

This is a great resource manual for Youth Services Librarians already working with teen parents or those interested in starting a program. The stats are up to date and the authors present comprehensive and moving supporting data that any librarian could cite when trying to justify programming for teen parents to a supervisor. The activities were also helpful and provided me with good suggestions and new ideas for spicing up my current program. Add this book to your tool kit!
