The Punisher MAX, Vol. 2 book. There is a lot going on in Kitchen Irish and Ennis balances it all with ease. Leandro Fernandez makes his Punisher Max debut and I kinda like his old grizzled punisher more that LaRosa's.

The Punisher MAX, Vol. If you see him on a book, pick it up, his art is fantastic.

My initial exposure to his treatment of Frank Castle and his slice of reality was with "The Punisher: The End," the one-shot illustrated by the amazing Richard Corben which I found amazing and highly recommend. Anyway, this particular trade paper back "Punisher MAX Vol. 2: Kitchen Irish" is well worth it for Ennis' writing and the Tim Bradstreet covers. Okuyunca ne demek istediğimi anlayacaksınız. I have been a fan of the Punisher series for many years and I have read and reviewed numerous graphic novels in this series. This one (The Punisher Mas Vol.2 #7 to 12 Kitchen Irish) has Frank Castle, The Punisher, having a bite to eat at a diner when all hell breaks loose. There is a huge explosion in a “Hell’s Kitchen Pub and almost kills him Frank.

This is how the five part story begins with “The Punisher” taking on two rival criminal gangs. Like all the Punisher tales, this one deals with the dark side of human nature. The language is realistic and raw as the Punisher does what he is known to be good at, killing off the criminal scum from the earth. The illustrations are fantastic and really come alive on the pages. There is plenty of action in this graphic novel which fans of the Punisher will love.

If you are into the Punisher series you should check out this volume.

Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Use of the Monadnock Straight(MEB) Baton).

Love Me
3.5 stars. Four separate Irish gangs tear at each other in hopes of getting the money of a recently dead, ancient, foul-mouthed mobster who has left them a note about his $10M. The return of Yorkie is a bit of a treat, and Castle is as violent, wry and consistent. The art is average at best and their are just too many shanty Irish characters.

All that said, it's still Garth Ennis writing the Punisher. It's good. Just not super good.

Garth Ennis is easily one of the best writers in comics when it comes to grim and gritty stories. He proven it again with this second volume in the Punisher Max series. Frank comes back to New York and gets pulled into a war with the Irish Mob, a group of new revolutionaries are squabbling over a supposed treasure left by a dead IRA godfather. They will cut each other down to get it and will destroy any innocent civilians who get in the way, except Frank Castle, The Punisher!

Garth Ennis is one of my favorite writers in comics so when I found out he had written some of "The Punisher" I had to check out his take on the character. The story in this volume is largely self-contained and developed well so if you've not read the previous volume by Garth Ennis or had any other exposure to the character, I think you'll enjoy this graphic novel.

Just like the first MAX book, this one is exactly how Punisher should be written. The book starts with a sucker punch to the gut and works its way through a cast of horrendous characters and ends on a predictable, yet perfect note. Amazing art and a satisfying story. I highly recommend it.

Very good story, worth the buy, and a great read.

Not as good as the first but still a tough and gritty tale. The bombing at the beginning really brings home the horror of bombs and the guy with his face blown off is a stomach churner on every page where he appears. Castle takes kind of a backseat to the whole English vs. Irish arc but Ennis has to get that out of his system in every series so glad it is good and done.

Another great story. This is one of my favorite stories by Garth Ennis in The Punisher series. The way the main bad guys die in the conclusion is hilarious!
