This is a story of two people who got married because she fell pregnant. Payton was from the USA who went to Italy to study fashion. She fell for Marco who owned d'Angelo fashion house. He was supposed to marry a princess. But ends up marrying Payton. She later leaves him after the twins were born. Taking them back to the US with her. Now she needs his help. And he is marrying the princess in two and half months. I have read many Jane Porter books and will read more of her work.

I'm always looking for a good reunion romance. And I wasn't disappointed with Marco and Payton's story. At the beginning, I was wondering what kept them apart and then I was wondering what was going to bring them back together. I think I'll be reading this one more than once.

I loved this book. That is until the ending, which was a bit of a cop out. But for the end, I would have rated this book a 5+.

This book covered ground you don't normally traveled in a Harlequin. The hero, who is divorced from the heroine, has truly moved on - so much so that he is engaged with the wedding scheduled in a matter of months.

The writer did a good job of developing the emotional onnections between the characters.

My one other beef with this book is that the heroine remained celibate from their divorce until she encountered the hero again. Come on. How realistic is that? Though it is a common occurance in Harlequins, I don't know nor have a heard of a single person whose sexuality went dormant after a break-up, even if the ex was the first and only guy she had been with.

Despite these quibbles, this was an excellent book. I looks forward to reading more books by Ms. Porter.

Heartwarming.I How trust never spoken can destroy a relationship. Where the lives of others can be destroyed on a whim.

I thoroughly enjoyed the staunchness and enduring love that Payton has for her delightful twin daughters. Jane Porter did a wonderful job of building the twin's chalk-and-cheese personalities and yet how fiercely they bonded over their distresses and joys.

I love Marco's unspoken respect for Payton's talent in their business world and how it surprised Payton when he eventually tells her. Payton's motives for bringing the girls back to Italy and their father, even though he is about to marry someone else is amazingly altruistic and a symbol of her love for her girls. The other reviewer have spoiled this part but I hope readers will still want to read and enjoy this gorgeous story.

I actually liked OW, even with her ...... nope, you'll have to read it because it's funny how one can like and forgive OW. A lovely story and a rare keeper for me.

Peyton is raising her twin daughters in California alone. When she's diagnosed with cancer, like her mom and aunt were previously, she decides to take the girls to Italy to be with their father. Although the girls consider their father (Marco) to be a stranger, Payton knows that he is the only person that can care for them if something were to happen to her.

This book was full of love, love lost and love rekindled. The story was written wonderfully and kept you captivated from the beginning. I found myself rooting for Payton and wanting to dislike Marco. At the end Marco realizes the mistakes he's made in letting his pride get in the way.

I would definitely recommend this book. There are a bunch of twists and turns in this book. You never know what's going to happen next and it makes it hard to put the book down. This is a must read!

After a failed marriage, Peyton moves back home to raise her twin daughters on her own. An illness brings her back to Italy to her ex-husband, Marco, in hopes he will take care of his daughters while she goes through cancer treatments. But, just being back with him again brings back all kinds of feelings she tried to put behind her. Marco is engaged to be married to someone else now. This book goes through a lot of emotions from Peyton and Marco as they try to figure out what they will do next. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance.

I couldn't out this book down. I thought I would just read a chapter or two before bed, boy was I wrong. I had to know what happened to Marco, Payton and their children. I loved that Payton was so strong in spite of all that she was feeling and going through. Porter did an excellent job of making feel all the emotions the characters were feeling. I found myself even tearing up at certain points. I loved this book!
