Though people have raged about the colors, I think it's still pretty cute. I posted an image of mine so people can shop better. Don't know why this wasn't done before...

The size is great. The cards are large enough that hand printing is reasonable and can fit an entire recipe. The cards that already have recipes on them print ingredients AND directions on one side, but if you're writing by hand, it's probably best to put ingredients on one side and directions on the other. I bet there's a way to use your printer too if you're technologically handy and fiddle with it, I know I've done stuff like that before. Also, though it comes with 50 blank cards, if you ever run out, the size is such that you could probably find more at Target or something. Cute print on them too that matches the box's motif.

I enjoy the simple design and pre-made dividers, though it would have been nice to have provided one or two blank dividers for custom labeling. Fits well in my small kitchen and would add to any novice/intermediate cook/chef. I enjoy cooking a great deal and have the trouble of finding a thousand recipes I love online and writing them on scratch paper and then losing them a week later and can't find them on the net again. So along with my 10 cookbooks, this is a nice addition to the healthy eating habits I create in my home.

I bought two of these tins for each of my sisters as Christmas presents, and then added all of our "family" recipes to the ones you get for free. The card size is 4x6 if you are hoping to buy more cards to add. I think the color was what I expected, and even cuter in person. I am planning to buy one for myself now to keep all my recipe cards organized. I also appreciate that these tins are durable and washable, so many recipe boxes are made out of cheap cardboard/fabric these days. My only gripe is that the categories they include are pretty limited, not baking friendly. I just had to make my own seperator cards.

This box is cute and it does exactly what I wanted it to do - it stores my recipes in a box that I'm not afraid to leave out on my countertop. I'm not one of those people who really cares what color the box comes in - does it really matter if it's peach-colored instead of orange, etc?!?! I haven't tried any of the recipes that come in the box, though I've looked through them and they look easy enough. I like the extra cards that came with it because they have extra lines on the back for longer recipes.

I ordered this item because it was priced less than another website where it also showed the wrong colors for the tin. The top is sort of a banana yellow and easter green with a fork, knife, and spoon shown in a circle that is also shown on the sides. The colors on the front are bright pinky-peach, yellow and brown. Although the colors are a little weird together, I really like this tin! It's very unique and I can't wait to try the recipes that came with it!

I gave this to my sister for Christmas filled with her favorite family recipes. She actually picked out the box, and it was exactly what she wanted. The colors in the picture were true to the actual colors and the cards used inside are attractive and big enough to transcribe longer recipes.

The seller did not offer any expedited delivery options. I thought that the file box was larger, it looked larger in the picture on the product; but is is actually extremely small. I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. She loved it, I guess that is all that matters. The box is really cute, even though it is smaller than I thought. I would suggest expeditied shipping, especially if the customer is willing to pay.

Great tin box for 4x6 card recipes. I wish they had extra dividers to write my own categories, but that's not a huge problem. No scratches, everything is perfect. The tin opens and closes without any problems and the peach/yellow/brown colors are very cute.

Yes, it is true, I too didn't get the same colored tin box as shown in the photo. It is a peach, lime, and yellow color instead. Not nearly as attractive. Also, there is a scratch on the front of the tin. But overall, for less than 12 bucks, I got 50 cool and easy recipies (I am just starting out in cooking...), the 50 extra recipie cards, and a somewhat stylie retro box to keep them in. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.
