Meet the loveable Mr Bear and his baby bear in this large-format board book. We read them to her almost every night, along with a stack of others. My daughter is now 2 1/2 years old, and she still asks for this one. Even when we're away from home ( & the book) I tell her the story at bedtime and she's happy. These books make great gifts too! I've given several to new moms and they all love them.

One word describes MR. BEAR SAYS I LOVE YOU: comforting. Tots will recognize such familiar creatures as ladybugs, grasshoppers, ducks, and owls. But best of all, the book ends with cuddles from father to child, professing absolute love. In the book's gentle drawings, Mr. Bear always wears a subtle smile, and his little cub's furry face has the inquisitive look of a child. Although it is short, the book attracts attention from more.
