With its lively cast of critters and gentle humor, Toilet Tales has been helping youngsters feel at ease in the bathroom for more than 20 years. Now this giggle-inducing favorite returns with vibrant new watercolor illustrations and few new creatures, too. Page by page, young readers will delight at the antics of animals on the commode. Of course, a giraffe could never even fit through the bathroom door. A seal would slip right off the seat. And a sitting elephant would simply crush the potty to pieces. After many such comical bestial blunders, the story concludes that animals can never use toilets because toilets are meant for “big kids like you.” Featuring more than a dozen animals—including kangaroos, an octopus, and even an orca whale–and written with child-friendly wit, Toilet Tales is guaranteed fun for any toilet-ready toddler.

Fun and funny!

My granddaughter LOVES this book!

Good book to add to my toilet training library. I work in an early childhood setting and use these books for parenting.

Amazing book. Love it!

The twin boys I read this to loved the story and have me read over and over and started using the potty more. YEAH

We have used this book for over 20 years to introduce our toilet routines at preschool. The children love the fun approach and it promotes much discussion during and after reading.

Kids at child care loved this book. They hadn't seen it before and their attention was captivated. Just needs to be a bit bigger for showing the children.
