The books age range is for 4 yr. old and above, but somehow this books seems more fit for older kids. I have to agree on the previous review, it's more appropriate for elementary school kids. My 4 yr. old enjoyed looking at the beautiful illustrations, but I wasn't able to get his attention with the story line. This book is definitely a keeper, but I will take it out again when he's older.
