I had this book back in 1998/1999 when i was little I bought it in a grocery store and loved it was my favorite book it's very funny and entertaining for kids it's a pretty long pull out of foods and their names and some other things you wouldn't find in a normal fridge but very good book to learn the alphabet.

I remember having this book as a kid around 2000 and it taught the alphabet with odd pullout pages and loud colors.

I would recommend this to any primary or pre-primary school student.

Surprisingly hard to find! Get it while you can.

I am a YouthFriend to a kindergarten class. I read this hilarious pop-up book to them at the beginning of the school year (it's an ABC book), and they have requested it again and again. The book depicts an overflowing and incredibly messy fridge filled with foods (and some non-foods!) in alphabetical order. A strand of spaghetti weaves its way through all the foods and shelves until, at last, a "monster" is discovered slurping it up at the very back of the fridge. The foods and non-foods invite children to share what would logically be found in the fridge and to think about what letter the foods start with. Many pop-ups within the book hold surprises, some not so appetizing. The "messiness" of the book really appeals to young children.

Colorful, alphabetical, identified refrigerator items fan out double-sided across glossy paper. Surprise items such as Daddy's Keys, Grandma's purse and Mom's makeup are also hidden on its shelves. My grandchildren (ages 2-6) pull this book off the shelf every time they visit. They love to ask me what I want for dinner from their so-called menu. I've had mine for 4+ years and still holding up.
